How to Redeem a Macy’s Gift Card

Redeem your Macy’s Gift Card

Step 1: Shop Online or In-Store

  • Browse products on Macys.com, in the Macy’s app, or at a Macy’s store

  • Add your favorite items to your bag or shopping cart

Step 2: Proceed to Checkout

  • For online purchases, go to your shopping bag and click “Checkout”

Step 3: Enter Your Gift Card Details

  • Choose “Apply a Gift Card” under payment options

  • Enter the gift card number and the CID (4-digit security code)

    • Physical card: both printed on the back

    • eGift card: information is in your email

Step 4: Apply the Balance

  • The gift card value will be deducted from your total

  • Use another payment method if your order exceeds the card balance

Using a Macy’s Gift Card In-Store

  • Present your physical card or show your eGift card barcode on your mobile phone

  • The cashier will scan and apply it to your purchase
